Most people will remember the story about the launch of Retin A (Tretinoin or Retinoic Acid) for acne some years ago. It was a most effective treatment. However while using it on a daily basis people were astonished to notice that their fine facial lines and wrinkles were being significantly reduced. It then became a hugely popular anti-wrinkle cream even with people who had no acne at all. But soon it became evident that Retin A (Retnoic Acid) made skin sensitive to the sun and it was made “prescription only”. Since then it has therefore become difficult to acquire.

HOW IT WORKS
Our serum contains and rapidly releases pure and active Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Ester) below the skin surface which then converts with skin enzymes into the active form of Vitamin A known all over the world for many years as Retin A or Retinoic Acid or Tretinoin. It therefore provides another approach to a more youthful look. Vitamin A stimulates cell growth and normalizes cell division. It is therefore able to counteract the skin aging process and improve the appearance of UV damaged skin and prematurely aged damaged skin. Fine lines, even wrinkles, are visibly reduced and age spots faded. This Retinoic Acid is in fact responsible for most of the activity of Vitamin A and is the only topical substance that has been proven to improve the appearance of wrinkles.
So if you are not getting the results you are looking for from your skin care this serum could well be the ideal, proven alternative. It also contains small concentrations of Lactic Acid (7%) and Salicylic Acid (1%) to gently and slightly exfoliate skin to ensure more rapid penetration and results.
ACNE
Retinyl Palmitate is still the treatment of choice for more severe comedonal acne or whiteheads or blackheads. It works by stimulating skin cell regeneration and helping the clearing of blocked matter in the follicles. It also helps to prevent the formation of new comedones. Salicylic Acid contributes to decongesting follicles and with Lactic Acid which gently exfoliates it aids the efficacy.

KEY INGREDIENTS
Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Ester): 0.6% Genuine anti aging benefits due to its conversion in the skin into Retinoic Acid (Tretinoin or Retin A). Also effective in Acne treatments. Simply put Retinoic Acid enforces skin cells to function normally once more and not like damaged or older cells. Its anti-oxidant activity ensures that the skin cells stay healthy.
Salicylic Acid: Aids acne by decongesting follicles and gently exfoliating.
Lactic Acid: Helps better penetration of serum and quicker results by gently exfoliating.

DIRECTIONS
Gently massage a thin layer at night into a perfectly cleansed, toned and dried skin. Don’t get into eyes. In the mornings wash face with a rough face cloth or Daily Mini Peel Powder to reduce possible flaking from the increased production of cells. Then apply a water based moisturisers and SPF30+ sunscreen.
Do this every 2nd or 3rd night for 2 weeks and then every night. If flaking or irritation increases take a break for a few days.
CAUTION: This serum may increase sun sensitivity to skin so apply SPF 50+ sunscreen every day.
